The TVi colour is a closed circuit television magnifier for people that need text and photos magnified. It uses a small TV camera in an ergonomic, hand-held "mouse" and incorporates a zoom lens which allows the level of magnification to be altered. The magnified image is displayed on a standard television in full colour or enhanced black and white. The mouse has rollers which facilitate easy scanning of text, and its mobility allows difficult-to-read items such as medicine bottles, cooking instructions, etc., to be magnified easily. The TVi VGA enable the unit to be connected to a Desktop PC and uses a footswitch to select which image is displayed on the PC Monitor.
